GAMMA-SUP II

Isotopic detection probe for radioguided surgery

The Gamma‑Sup II probe ensures efficient detection of lymph nodes, including deep or weakly radiolabelled nodes.

It is designed for use:

• In nuclear medicine, for preoperative localization of the target area to be incised and confirmation of lymphoscintigraphy markings

• In the operating room, for localization of the surgical target, detection and extraction of sentinel lymph nodes, and in vivo node counts

By providing reliable instrumental information (gamma activity level), the probe helps surgeons accurately localize areas of interest, thereby improving procedural accuracy and efficiency.

Clinical applications

The Gamma-Sup II delivers support to clinicians across a wide range of oncological procedures:

Radioguided surgery

Sentinel lymph node detection (SLND) in breast, gynecological, dermatological, or ENT cancers.

Localization of non-palpable lesions

Used in conjunction with Iodine-125 seed technique (SEED).

Advanced surgical oncology

Intraoperative detection of FDG for localizing metastases and micrometastases.

Benefits for users

For the surgeon

High detection efficiency enabling shorter procedures, minimal incisions, and a significant reduction in resurgery rates.

For the scrub nurse (OR nurse)

Reliable, user-friendly equipment, quick to deploy thanks to wireless technology, all facilitating surgical workflow and asepsis.
